Transformation at the Transformation Celebration!
< Back to ArchiveAt the September Sunday night John 17 Transformation Celebration at Mineral Springs Park in Pekin, the Lord led Pastor Tom to pray over the microphone that there was someone who could hear his voice who had come to the park to get away and wrestle with things, and that God was here to meet with them because he loved them and wanted a relationship. A moment later, someone came up to his wife and said, “that’s the person” and pointed to a teenage girl standing off to the side of the lagoon. Vicky went to her and talked with her, and yes, she had come to the park for all those reasons, and when she heard the prayer over the microphone, she felt something go through her, and she just stopped right where she was. Vicky prayed with her and asked if she would like to receive Jesus as her savior, and she said, “yes” and prayed to receive Jesus into her heart.
