We believe that prayer is one of God’s most powerful ways of
communicating with us. It is His desire to hear our heart and share
His with us. To know and be known—cultivating a true relationship
with Him—is the most important purpose of prayer. We long to be
extravagant worshipers in love with a God who’s burning desire
is for us. We consider it a privilege to lead your heart in prayer
in order to connect with the heart of the Father. Please join us
as we seek His presence for it is in His presence that we are
changed, healed, and set free.
Personal Prayer
Personal Prayer starts with 30 minutes of worship for a time of clearing
your mind and putting God in His rightful place in your heart. A trained
team of 2 or 3 members then partner with God in prayer by connecting
your heart with God’s. We believe that all needs are met when a vital
relationship with God is cultivated and that hearts and lives are changed
when they hear from God. So whether you are facing a serious problem,
or just desire a deeper relationship with Him, contact Marilyn Crossland
for an appointment at 686-0131.
Altar Team
A specially trained prayer team is available at the alter after each service
to provide a safe place for God to reveal his heart and cultivate the word
that was shared in the sermon. We are also available to join with God in
lifting up any special needs, concerns or healing.
Intercession during each service
There is a team of intercessors praying for the prayer requests, and for
each name written on the pew pads during each service. There is also
intercession before the between the services on Sunday morning at 9:30am.
The sanctuary is open for prayer
every day 6:00am to 8:00am
365 days a year you can come to the sanctuary at this time in the morning
and find a quiet place to pray in the presence of God.
We gather together for CORPORATE PRAYER on Tuesday, through
Saturday mornings from 7:00am - 8:00am.
Encounter God Saturdays
God is stirring up the hearts of His people to live holy lives and to be consecrated, set apart for His service. He is raising up watchmen to stand upon the wall and to cry out to Him on behalf of Peoria region for His kingdom to be established in this area. As a body of people who love God and want to partner with Him in what He is doing , we set aside a Saturday every other month to seek his heart through harp and bowl worship, prayer, and outreach that we call Encounter God Saturday. We would like to make this a monthly event beginning January, 2011.
Begining at noon, we will be worshiping and praying with different worship leaders all day long in our sanctuary. From 2PM - 6PM , we will also be offering prophetic prayer ministry and healing prayer ministry.
We then continue with our Saturday service from 6:00-8:00pm. From 8:00-10:00pm we will continue with a time of worship and intercession in the sanctuary as we send out teams into the city to go on a "treasure hunt" for God. Throughout the year we have 24 hour prayer vigils offering unique opportunities
to pray in the Sanctuary any time of day.
